Our history
The roots of the Faber Energy Group go back to 1995. Founded by Mr Faber Senior, we have continued to develop over the past three decades and have constantly redefined the limits of what is technically feasible in electrical engineering. What began with classic domestic installations laid the foundation for a comprehensive expertise that today covers the entire value chain of modern energy systems.
Bünde and Dresden
The Faber Energy Group manages its activities throughout Germany from two strategic hubs. Our head office with administration and central production plant is located in Bünde. Here the Faber E-Tec its expertise in the production of high-quality transformer stations.
In addition, our location in Dresden focuses on sales and specialised project planning for modern photovoltaic systems through the Faber Solar Technology. This structure guarantees you efficient support and the precise realisation of your energy infrastructure projects.

Our services
Precise production & customised assembly
The process begins in our German production facility with the moulding of certified concrete bodies. Faber E-Tec then equips each compact transformer station with the specific medium-voltage and low-voltage technology required for your particular grid area and field of application. Each station is an individual powerhouse weighing over 17 tonnes.
Integrated planning & engineering
On request, the Faber Energy Group can take over the entire project planning for you - from the customised transformer station to the comprehensive medium-voltage concept. Our experts at Faber Solartechnik and E-Tec take all site-specific requirements into account to guarantee maximum availability of your system.
Special logistics & heavy haulage
A fully equipped compact station weighs over 17 tonnes and requires precise logistics planning as a heavy transport. Our experienced specialist department coordinates the safe transfer of the station directly to your site - on time and reliably.
Installation & mains connection
We think in depth: after delivery, the transformer station is professionally sunk into the ground by around one metre. In addition to the earthworks, our service includes professional installation and the technically secure connection of your generation plant or industrial operation to the infrastructure.
Compliance with 800+ distribution system operators
Each of the more than 800 German grid operators has individual requirements for the grid connection. Our flexibly designed stations fulfil every technical requirement. In this way, we ensure that your ground-mounted photovoltaic system or commercial operation is connected to the grid smoothly and in compliance with regulations.
Safety, maintenance & protection measurement
We carry out professional protection measurements at low and medium voltage level at regular intervals to ensure long-term trouble-free operation. This ensures the longevity of your energy infrastructure and minimises the risk of unplanned downtimes.
